The popular question this time of year from buyers and sellers is “When does the spring housing market take off”? I have to smile when I respond because the reaction is always fun. “It’s after Super Bowl Sunday”. At first people think I’m joking (or crazy) but, it makes perfect sense. Football season has ended and people are moving off the sofa. By February many are bored with winter and ready for change, including the thought of a new home. I kid you not when I say that in all my years of selling real estate the Spring market has never failed to pop the minute Super Bowl is over.

I am extremely excited to report that prediction is occurring earlier this year with a very active January.

2007 is going to be a great year for buyers and sellers !
